…and then there are SCUMBAGS. Joran van der Sloot is a world class scumbag if there ever was one. It is bad enough that he clearly was involved in the disappearance/death of Natalee Holloway, has repeatedly changed his story while using his dad’s influence to thumb his nose at authority and evade justice, and has literally tortured this poor girl’s mom for the past 5 years while her life has fallen apart and she cannot find out what the hell happened to her daughter….now he has murdered another girl (nice work, Aruba) AND is in trouble for extorting $250k from someone in Alabama (presumably Natalee’s mom) in exchange for information about what really happened the night she disappeared. SCUM.BAG. They need to put a needle in this mother fucker NOW.

Oh, and the latest murder was on the 5 year anniversary of the disappearance of Natalee Holloway. In Peru. He fled to Chile.

where have i been?

computerless hell.

For at least the past 6 months, we have been experiencing less than optimal performance from our home computer. We had to trick the computer and the monitor into working together as one cohesive unit. Like operations and sales. This became progressively harder and harder to accomplish via our sophisticated troubleshooting, aka pressing the power button over and over again until the magical HP logo appeared. So FINALLY, back in March, we bit the bullet and took the damn computer to the Best Buy Geek Squad. $400 later, our computer was shipped away, to parts unknown, via UPS ground. Just to make sure this process takes as long as possible. We also provided a list of what was wrong with the computer: 1. doesnt work 2. even when it does work, the USB ports do not work.

So, last week, Joe Geek Squad called me to excitedly tell me that the computer is back in town and fixed. However, he wanted to “give me the heads up that the USB ports dont work and you will need to send the computer off again to get that fixed”. REALLY JOE? Thanks for giving me the one-month-later-heads-up that I already gave you. In writing. I think that’s called a heads down.  OMG I have to publish now, my computer is about to die. I am on our piece of shit laptop at a cyber cafe. Nice that I got through .5 of my 20 item BdJ list. I FUCKING HATE TECHNOLOGY.
