I try not to get too political on here, as it is SO unsavory. But I am about to explode with disgust. So I will keep it brief. Take your blinders off, people. Forget about political parties. Think about what is important to you. Think about our leaders, and what their job is. Think about what WE as tax payers, have hired them to do. Think about how you want to be represented. The people passing/debating the historic legislation surrounding healthcare are our REPRESENTATIVES. How have they been representing you? Think about your job. If you behaved on your job the way your representatives have been behaving, would you still have a job? Should you still have a job? Have you ever dug in your heels, immaturely, to prove a point? Did that point impact millions of people? We live in a still-could-be-great country where we are all afforded FREE SPEECH. Use it to reach out to your representatives and speak your mind!!

p.s. As a card carrying member of the pre-existing condition club, I am thrilled with the proposed healthcare reform! If we are going to pick apart a wasted $32B, let’s start with the War on Drugs, the Space Program, and the War of Lies and Oil we have been embroiled in for the past 9 years. (Didn’t Donald Rumsfeld promise that would cost less than the healthcare $$ we are arguing over? If it weren’t so tragic, it would be hilarious!)
